Select Create > Dimension Reduction > Map... to create a map of a table. An expert system selects an appropriate algorithm. The algorithms available in Q include Multidimensional Scaling (MDS), Principal Components Analysis Loading Plot, Principal Components Analysis Biplot, Correspondence Analysis, Correspondence Analysis of Square Tables and Multiple Correspondence Analysis
By default Q produces a Moon Plot in PowerPoint when conducting the various forms of correspondence analysis. Alternatively, traditional scatter plots can be exported into Excel, Word and PowerPoint by selecting the preferred options in the dialog box.

Buttons, options and fields
Type of analysis Whether the analysis to be based on the table being viewed, or, variables selected by the user.
Questions Questions to be used with multiple correspondence analysis.
Ignore NET and SUM Excludes the NET or SUM row from the analysis of correspondence analysis (they are always excluded from multiple correspondence analysis).
Save factors Creates variable containing factors from multiple correspondence analysis.
Plotting Plots the first two dimensions of the correspondence analysis as a biplot.
Moon plot options Settings that customize the appearance of the moon plot.
