Visualization - Histograms (Legacy)

Histograms show the distribution of of Numeric Variables.

They can be created by:

• Creating a table on the Outputs Tab.
• Selecting Histograms from Show Data as.

Creating categories

If you press Create categories, Q:

• Automatically creates groupings on the chart (see the example below).
• Creates a new Pick One or Pick One - Multi question containing the categories.

You can modify the categories by:

• Dragging and dropping the pink lines demarcating the categories.
• Modifying the number of Categories.
• Categorize each numeric variable individually.
• Make Equal Proportions.
• Make Equal Intervals.
