A multifactor experiment is an experiment in an experiment in which two or more factors are manipulated (e.g., price and product quality).
There are two main ways of analyzing multifactor experiments in Q[note 1]:
- Using regression (linear, binary logit, ordered logit, multinomial). This is usually the preferred method for very simple experiments that do not involve repeated measures (i.e., experiments where people provide only a single response).
- Using the Experiment question type, which permits analysis using Latent Class Analysis and Mixture Models. See Experiments Specifications for a description of how to set up experiments in Q and case studies for more information about the set up and analysis of multifactor experiments.
